Common FAQ's

How are you operating with Cornoavirus pandemic?

Currently I am seeing clients in person and online via telehealth - this means that we will be meeting through a webcam and microphone. The nice thing about telehealth is that it offers lots of flexibility for client and therapist - without having to do any traveling or putting on a bra or shoes, haha.

Are you accepting new clients?

I am currently not accepting new clients, HOWEVER, I can put you on a waiting list to begin services of about 6ish weeks. Can't wait? No problem! I can provide you information for trusted colleagues that are accepting new clients.

How does this work?

It's not difficult! Just call or email me and we can get you started! I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to make sure that I am the right therapist for your needs. From there, we will schedule you for an assessment appointment and begin services. I will give you access to the Client Portal for you to fill out paperwork before appointments, and keep up with session billing.

Where are you located?

I am located in downtown Simpsonville -a few blocks from the "center." My therapy space is in an old mill house with, a cozy but spacious office. There is parking at the house and it is handicap-accessible.  If the parking is tight, there is a space across the street available to park.

Do you accept my insurance?

I accept SOVA, Cigna, Optum/United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, to include all their variations aside from Medicaid or Medicare.

If I do not accept your insurance,  I operate on fee for service (self-pay); however, I can provide a Superbill (a receipt of services) for you to turn into  your insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. If you call the number on the back of your insurance card, you will be able to obtain information related to your behavioral health coverage.

Many individuals prefer to pay out of pocket for behavioral health care for privacy reasons; when you utilize insurance benefits, therapists are required to diagnose a mental health disorder and submit progress notes for treatment.

I accept all major credit card companies, cash, check, Venmo, and HSA & FSA accounts.
